Rooted in architecture and natural materiality, we offer two private stays nestled into the hillside above Raglan (Whāingaroa). Designed to slow you down, and take in everything this coastline has to offer.
Whare Tatū
Nestled into the hillside just minutes from Raglan and Ngarunui Beach, Whare Tatū is a private, minimalistic retreat built for those who want to truly switch off.

The Space
A private, minimalistic retreat nestled into the hillside. King bed with cotton sheets and a linen duvet. Towels & basic toiletries Open-air kitchen between the lounge and bedroom. Lounge opens onto a sun-trap deck with harbour views toward Te Akau. No TV, no microwave. Just sunshine, fresh air, and native birds.

A newly built small home tucked quietly at the foot of our hillside property, Whare Tōtahi is made for solo travellers and couples who need a proper escape.

A newly built standalone cabin tucked privately at the foot of the hillside. Designed for solo travellers and couples. Everything provided including linen, towels, cooking basics, and toiletries. No TV, no microwave. We're intentionally low-frequency.
